LG Unveils Signature Appliances, K Series Smartphones and more

Have you been following our coverage of the CES2016 show in Las Vegas.  We have recently blogged about Acer’s latest innovative products and Lenovo’s new range of laptops.  On the 5th January LG unveiled a whole new range of Signature appliances and Smartphone technology.

Let’s dive in and take a look as to what’s new from LG.

LG kicks off its time at CES 2016 with the unveiling of its new Signature Appliances range.  The initial offerings of the new Signature Range include a stunning and new HDR-enabled OLED 4K TV,a more advanced and impressive Twin Wash Washing Machine, a cutting edge Door in Door fridge and a futuristic air purifier.

LG K10 Series

LG unveiled its new range of K smartphones, the K7 and K10 were the first in this series of smartphones.
Both devices feature the impressive pebble design with curved edges and is aimed at a more younger audience than some of the predecessors.

The design is complemented further by its impressive 2.5D Arc Glass for a smooth and seamless style.  The camera on the K Series smartphones are being designed with multimedia in mind and because of this the smartphones benefit from an impressive 13 Megapixel rear facing camera and a 8 megapixel front facing camera.

Under the hood of the K10 series will be a range of different RAM modules including the 2GB, 1.5GB and 1GB.  Internal storage will also be available in a range of sizes from 8GB up to 16GB.  You will also find the K Series available in a range of colours including White, Indigo and Gold. The K10 Series will be powered by an 1.2Ghz or 1.3GHz Quad Core for the LTE Variant and 1.3GHz for the 3G version only.

No release date or pricing has yet been confirmed.

LG K7 Smartphone

LG K7 Series

The LG K7 was next to be shown off at CES2016 similar in design to the K10, the K7 series has a 5″ FWVGA display and will be available in both LTE and 3G variants.  The LTE version will be available with a 1.1GHz Quad-Core Processor and 1.3GHz for the 3G version.

In terms of memory the K7 has seen this reduced in comparison to the K10 and contains enough room for up to 1.5GB.  The camera on the K7 smartphone includes a 8MP rear facing camera and a 5MP front facing camera, ideal for those important selfie-shots.

Similar to the K10, the K7 will be available in a range of colours including White, Black and Gold with a special Titan Colour being made available for the LTE variant.

No release date or pricing was confirmed.



The battle for the biggest TV size is certainly on with LG unveiling a new the all new 4K HDR-Enabled OLED TV line up.  The new range of TV’s will be spearheaded by its flagship TV sets the 77/65 inch G6 and 65/55 inch E6 models.  All eight, yes eight new models benefit from LG’s premium technologies including OLED displays, 4K resolution and high dynamic range.

All 2016 OLED TV models will benefit from LG’s Ultra HD Premium seal of recognition from the UHD Alliance for meeting demanding standards set by the industry organisation for high resolution.  Essentially the display on this new line of TV sets is immersive, impressive and you will feel like you are right in the centre of the action.


The G6 and E6 are the very first TV’s to be some of the thinnest around featuring LG’s Picture on Glass design which boast an ultra-thin 2.57mm OLED panel with a translucent glass back and forward facing sound bar speaker system. This thinness combined with the high quality sound bar speaker system gives the viewer a whole new level of home entertainment.

What’s more the LG OLED TV line up all come with LG’s very own webOS content management platform. Giving  exceptional user experiences and helping LG SMART TV users more intuitively navigate the TV’s many features.

The new range of LG G6 and E6 TV’s will begin rolling our globally from March 2016.
