Huawei Honor 5x Smartphone
Although launched back in November 2015, the Mate 8 smartphone is making the headlines at CES2016 thanks to it’s forthcoming release in the United States. This affordable smartphone packs one heck of a powerful punch. A smartphone which has been built with productivity in mind and has significantly enhanced power, efficiency and battery life.
The smartphone will launch in the US with a price tag as low s $200 and from the specifications you can certainly see why it is a smartphone with a powerful punch for such a great price. A 5.5″ 1080p screen, a Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM and a 13MP rear facing camera sensor certainly will achieve most of your daily activities.
The battery is a 3000mAh battery, we’re confident that will keep you online for a while. The smartphone also features an impressive 5x Metal frame and a finger print reader.
Huawei Mate 8 Phablet
Under the hood of this smartphone you will find the latest Kirin 850 chipset with CPU boosting power up to 100 percent, GPU performance up to 125 percent and power efficiency of up to 70 percent compared to the Kirin 925. This high performing smartphone features 4x A72 2.3GHz processors and 4x A53 1.8 GHz processors.
This smartphone is ideal for handling multiple applications, demanding games and the normal day to day tasks of 2016. The smartphone also comes with an impressive 4000mAh high density battery offering over 2 days worth of power based on normal usage. You will also find that the Mate 8 Phablet can be recharged and ready for action in just 30 minutes.
You will also find that the Honor 5x smartphone is incredibly secure with an enhanced finger print sensor which improves the effective identification area by up to 10%. What’s more the Mate 8 has adopted the 16MP IMX298 camera lens delivering fantastic imagery.
The Mate 8 will be available in 30 countries initially including Spain, Germany, France, UAE, Mexico and Australia. The device will cost 599 euros for the 3GB + 32GB variant and 699 euros for the 4GB + 64GB version. The smartphone will also be available in four elegant colours including champagne gold, moonlight silver, space gray and mocha brown.
Huawei MediaPad M2 Tablet
Unveiled for the first time ws the MediaPad M2 Tablet, Huawei’s latest offering in the Tablet Market. This 10″ 1200p model has a design that is very similar to that of the Samsung tablets and is certainly getting as thin as other tablets of its class measuring in at just 7.8mm and an all metal body.
The MediaPad M2 is also the world’s first 4G metal media tablet capable of drawing fast download speeds and ensuring you never miss any of the action whatever you are doing. Advanced audio technology makes the M2 stand out from its competitor and with dual speakers you will find yourself immersed in a cinematic experience.
The display is a full FHD display, and the colours bring the screen to life like nothing before. Enabling you to experience the world through your tablet. Under the bonnet you will find a Kirin 930 quad-core processor, a 13 mega-pixel rear facing camera and four Harmon Kardon speakers.
The MediaPad M2 will cost $349 in the use when it goes on sale later this year.
Huawei Elegant & Jewel Android Wear smartwatches
The most exciting announcement within Huawei’s unveiling was the announcement of two new Android Wear smartwaches, simply named Elegant and Jewel. From the names you can pretty much guess that these smartwatches are certainly a touch of luxury and have a jewel encrusted design sporting Swarvoski crystals and gold cases.
The watches are expected to be available in the early part of 2016 , with US price set to be between $499 and $599 for Huwei Elegant and Huawei Jewel.
Huawei GX8 mid-range smartphone
Launched specifically for the US market, it is another version of the Huawei G8 smartphone, already available here in the UK. A mid range smartphone featuring a metal unibody design and will also come with a 5.5″ 1080p display, a Snapdragon 615 CPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage and a 3000mAh battery. Another smartphone which is packing a powerful punch without the high price tag at just $350 sim-free and will be available in the US sometime this spring.
