As we get ever closer to the start of the Mobile World Congress, LG has unveiled it’s latest flagship smartphone, the LG G6.
The latest G6 smartphone comes complete with a bold new display format complimented by a cinematic viewing experience, exceptional screen to body ratio, wide angle camera and a whole lot more.
The LG G6 has been designed based around consumer feedback the company received for it’s G5 model.
Going back to basics with a focus on the features consumers want, most notably a big screen that fits into one hand.
The screen is huge, but fits in your hand
The LG G6 comes with a 5.7 inch QHD+ (2,880 x 1,440 resolution) FulVision display and for the first time ever in a smartphone, an 18:9 screen aspect ratio.
The large size screen makes for an immersive gaming experience.
Under the bonnet
Under the hood of this incredible device is 4GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage space, which can be upgraded to up to 2TB via MicroSD.
The operating system is Android 7.0 Nougat and will be available in 3 distinct colours including Astro Black, Ice Platinum and Mystic White.
Capture the whole story
The LG G6 cameras do not disappoint either.
With dual 13MP rear facing cameras including a 125-degree lens on a wide angle, the LG G6 captures panoramic shots that regular phone cameras can’t. Allowing the G6 to deliver a unique camera experience that the traditional camera can’t.
On the front you will be faced with a 100-degree field of view, 5MP front facing camera which means users can take selfies or wefies without the need for a selfie stick.
Built for those oops moments
We’ve all had situations where our smartphone has fell into water or has been dropped in a rather dusty environment.
The LG G6 is IP68 water and dust resistant allowing it to be immersed into 1.5 meters of water for as long as 30 minutes.
You no longer have to worry about drops, knocks or falls as the LG G6 has been designed and built to be dependable even the going gets rough.
Finally you will find that the LG G6 smartphone has been tested further with high temperatures and nail penetration.
LG worked closely with Google to ensure that the Google Assistant experience is a terrific one right out of the box.
Google Assistant has been built right into the smartphone making it work seamlessly and intuitively with LG apps, empowering users to get fast answers, manage everyday tasks, enjoy the very best music and videos as well as search the G6 more effectively than every before.
What’s more Google Assistant has been pre-built with AI allowing it to become more personalised, the more it knows the more it can help the user.
Overall the LG G6 is a fantastic update to the companies G’ series of smartphones and we particularly love the smartphones screen size and camera.
We’re looking forward to seeing more of the LG G6 in the coming months
