When Samsung launched its new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones it also launched a new and all seeing, literally, Samsung Gear 360. The new Gear 360 allows users to create, view and share their favourite experiences through video and still image content.
Designed and specifically targeted for those who do a lot of travelling the Gear 360 provides an all-encompassing visual experience. The camera on, board this beautiful accessory, leverage’s the best of the Samsung Galaxy experience enabling the user to indulge in their very own virtual reality through Gear VR.

Gear 360 is Compact
Compact but equipped with high performance technology for every activity. The Gear 360 is equipped with dual fisheye lenses both of which have 15 megapixel image sensors allowing the user to capture high resolution (3840 x 1920) 360-degree video that also supports 30 megapixel still imagery.
Users also have the option to shoot in either 180-degree wide angle video and images by using only one side of the Gear 360. The lens, which is beautifully built into the device, is a Bright Lens F2.0 which creates high resolution images even in low light conditions.
The device has a light and beautiful spherical design enabling you to carry the Gear 360 around without a problem. You can also film on the go or for indoor activities the device comes with its very own tripod.
That Galaxy Experience
Samsung is known for pushing the boundaries of both hardware and software capabilities.
The Gear 360 certainly doe not disappoint, once the device is synced with your Samsung smartphone you will be able to view and save your viewing experience directly to your smartphone. From there you can do pretty much anything including uploading it to social media channels including Google Street View. For that real 360 degree view you can simply switch to watch self-created content through the Gear VR. All of these impressive features are available through the Galaxy Apps, Google Play store as well as PC software for more in-depth editing capabilities.

The Gear 360 will be available in the 2nd quarter of 2016 in selected countries.
