The Galaxy S8 and S8+ are our testament to regaining your trust by redefining what’s possible in safety and marks a new milestone in Samsung’s smartphone legacy.
Smartphones without limits
A summary of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ features some of the largest wrap around screens ever made, artificial intelligence (Bixby), an improved camera and a new beautifully crafted design.
The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are the latest devices since the catastrophic failure of the Galaxy Note 7 with its exploding batteries.
These latest devices need to win over consumer confidence and more importantly it needs to stand out from its competitors including the latest Apple iPhone 8, planned for a September launch and Huawei’s premium smartphone planned for launch later on today.

Samsung has a pedigree of building smartphone devices that are beautifully crafted and feature the latest cutting edge technology. Available in both 5.8 inch screen for the Galaxy S8 and 6.2 inch screen for the Galaxy S8+, an Infinity Display and bezelless design form a smooth and continuous surface with no buttons or sharp angles.
The result is a truly immersive viewing experience without any kind of distractions and makes multitasking whilst on the go a lot more convenient. The large screen sizes, however, do not impact on the smartphones compact design and enables comfortable one-handed usage and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and back of the device.
The Galaxy Foundation
In addition to the stunning design, as we mentioned earlier, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ is being launched with a whole host of new services and applications including:

- Built on Knox: Both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy 8+ are built on Samsung’s Knox a defence grade security platform. One of the major features absent from the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus is the home button.
This has been replaced by artificial intelligent (AI) platform, Bixby that helps users get more out of their smartphone. The camera on the smartphone doubles up as Bixby’s eyes. With Bixby users can conveniently interact with the smartphones AI by either voice, text or even touch commands.
At the launch of the Galaxy S8 devices Bixby’s voice function integrate with several Samsung native apps and features including Camera, Contacts, Gallery, Messages and Settings with plans to expand this into more applications and third-party apps.
We mentioned earlier that the camera doubles up as Bixby’s eyes. Users are also able to shop with Bixby by using the image recognition technology. As the Bixby eco system grows we can expect to see a lot more from Bixby and the plan is for the AI to connect across applications, devices and service providing a ubiquitous interface.
