We take a look at the new Sony Xperia X Series, who remembers when it was launched?
Lets go back along time, lets cast our minds back to February when a rather large event took place. The event, Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. All the big boys were there and when it comes to technology and big boys in the same sentence they don’t get any bigger than Sony.
It has been expected that Sony was working on a new addition to its Xperia range. The new flagship smartphone came in the form of the Sony Xperia X series. Dubbed a vision for the future of communications, with ambient devices capable of changing the way we interact with the world.
Speaking at the unveiling of the new Sony Xperia X, CEO and President of Sony Mobile Communications said:
Sony Mobile will continue to create increasingly personalised and intelligent products and services that empower you to do more, and live more creatively than ever. Our products and services will connect you to each other and become essential and beloved parts of your lives.
With our continued passion for technology, we will keep adding new and exciting features to evolve our smartphones. At the same time, we want to change how you access information and interact with friends and family in a closer, natural and more meaningful way.
Introducing Xperia X, Xperia X Performance and Xperia XA
The Xperia X Series embodies Sony Mobile’s brand new vision for the future of communications through adding new layers of intelligent technology across some of Xperias most popular features including: camera, battery and design, to make every day smarter and more simple.
Prediction is difficult but it isn’t impossible and with the Xperia X series comes the next generation Xperia Camera which is capable of taking shots spontaneously. A Predictive Hybrid Focus that comes with the Xperia X and Xperia X Performance has been developed with close assistance from the Sony a camera engineers.
The battery performance on the Xperia X series has been improved and now incorporates Sony’s smart battery management to deliver up to two days battery life. This management ability not only means that your phone will be running for longer but you will also get more life out of your battery thanks to Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging Technology. Furthermore, you will find the Xperia X smartphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor and the Xperia X Performance has been fitted with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor giving both smartphones the capacity to work longer and faster connectivity.
The design of the Xperia X series has also been improved, featuring a unified design concept with premium features and a curvature that fits perfectly into the palm of your hand.
The Xperia X, Xperia X Performance and Xperia XA will be available in a range of colours including White, Graphite Black, Lime Gold and Rose Gold and will be available from Summer 2016.
